Epsom Youth Group The Youth Fellowship of the Chinese Congregation was formed some years ago. Although there have been changes in the composition of membership in this group, they have remained faithful in serving the Lord. I think this has much to do with the fact that the majority of young people have followed their parents to come to the church since when they were young. The Lord Jesus said: ¡§Bring the child to the truth of the Lord from when they are young¡¨. This is the responsibility of parents.

There are nearly 20 people regularly coming to the Fellowship. Apart from bible study, and small group activities which fellowship meetings usually organise, it is most pleasing to see that many have a strong burden for evangelism. Through the guidance of the scripture some of them visit City of London Freemen¡¦s School ¡]near Epsom¡^from time to time bringing the gospel to the students there. Despite their limited experience their complete devotion is unquestionable. This is indeed a blessing to the Chinese Church for this group of young people will be the future of the church. in future. Through the life of this Fellowship they continue to grow in the Lord.

When I look back to the year 1994 when our family first immigrated to England, most of the Fellowship members began to come to my Sunday school class and receive teachin from the bible. I have seen them growing up and some of them have already entered the world of work. Not only that, some actually are participating in serving the Lord in different capacities within the church. All this has made me (and others who have also taught them), tremendously satisfied. May the Lord continue to lead them, to instil in them a desire for the word of God, and to serve Him in various roles in an increasingly mature way.
